Here are a few interesting facts about the province of Guizhou. As of 2001 the population of Guizhou was 32.25 million. Yes...you read it correctly....32 MILLION people. Land mass is almost exactly the same as the state of Washington. Hmmmm..... what is the population of Washington state? brb...
According to Google the population of WA is 6,549,224. So...only a difference in population of 25.5 million people. WOW! There is some perspective for you.
This province has 16 different minority groups represented and I was told that it is the only province in the country where it is legal to have a gun. For hunting purposes only! I am curious to see if that is really true. Many different products come from this area but the one that caught my attention....TEXTILES! Yippee!
